Drawing by hand, I calligraphed the ideogram for “harmony” using a Chinese pony hair brush.
I created a clipping mask from a scan, and started painting in Photoshop CS5 on a Wacom tablet.
Total time to create this image: 27 minutes.
If I'd been doing it for a client, cost: $ 54.
